Hyaluronic Acid
Our Spa introduced BrunoVassari HA 50X (Hyaluronic acid treatment) in February. This treatment is widely used to treat different kinds of skin conditions including irritation, hyper pigmentation, wrinkles and dehydration etc. The result has been incredible and I have received all kinds of positive feedback from our clients, therefore, I would like to share some of the facts that make hyaluronic acid such an important factor for our skincare.
Don’t be misled by the word ‘acid’, hyaluronic acid isn’t harsh at all, in fact, it is a powerful moisture-binding ingredient that keeps skin plump and hydrated.Hyaluronic acid fills the extracellular matrix of our skin. It retains water over 1000 times its own weight. Hyaluronic acid is a space filler that hydrates the surrounding tissue and keeps the collagen nourished and healthy.
The treatment of BV HA50X consists of both high weight and low weight molecules of Hyaluronic acid.
High weight molecule means a bigger molecule which only fills up the epidermis and forms a protective film on the surface of our skin. Therefore, it protects our skin from UVA and UVB, and from the environmental pollution, hence minimizes the chance developing sensitive skin and hyper pigmentation. It also provides a better skin tone and natural radiance to our skin.
Low weight molecule means a smaller molecule which fills up the space in our dermis which not only plumps but also hydrates our tissue. It keeps the collagen nourished and healthy. Hyaluronic acid is great for acne and blemished skin, because it helps tissue repair and wound healing. Also, it provides a better passage for nutrients and waste products, hence, the skin has a better metabolism.
